Tyler Wiggers

The clock was ticking on Tyler. There was one thing standing in the way of him becoming a US Marshal, and he had one shot left.

Tyler was already extremely fit, but never a runner, and as part of the PT assessment he had to run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes 30 seconds. He came to PBF for some run coaching and in his initial assessment it took him 13 minutes to run only 1 mile. We had work to do.

His drive, heart and dedication were inspiring. He did all the little things right. He followed the running plan, got his Nutrition right, lost weight and became a runner. On his final attempt, he ran 1.5 miles in 12:28 and is now a US Marshal.

“First of all, I would like to say thank you, this note isn’t near enough to express the gratitude I have for all the help, guidance, and advice you have given me over the last couple years. I have never been a runner; in fact, I was the fat kid that could never even run a whole mile in elementary and middle school. Now, I not only enjoy it but I prefer it as a mode of exercise and stress release. You have helped me make what I thought was an impossible feat achievable.

I got called two weeks ago to have my third and final attempt at my fitness test.
Thursday, I focused on my breath and pace and I ran the test in 12 mins and 28 seconds!

So again thank you for everything.”

Tyler is proof that if you have a goal that is special enough, you will find a way. We couldn’t be prouder to be a small part of his success, and to know good, strong, dedicated people are there to serve and protect with pride.
